Dynamic rotary UPS systems, or DRUPS as they are sometimes called, are far simpler technically, structurally, and electrically than static UPS systems. Because they have only a fraction of the components used in static UPS systems, dynamic UPS systems have significantly fewer single points of failure, and as such they dramatically increase uptime and reliability.
